Terms of Use

1. Who provides Tapolo

   Tapolo is developed and provided by an independent developer based in Poland (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at [email protected] .

2. Tapolo and the App Store

   Tapolo is distributed through Apple’s App Store and licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms and Apple’s agreement conflict, Apple’s agreement prevails.

   Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple’s terms. Apple is not responsible for Tapolo or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Questions, complaints or claims about Tapolo should be sent to us at [email protected] .

3. Your licence

   We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Tapolo on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, as permitted by the App Store’s usage rules.

4. In-app purchases

   Tapolo offers optional in-app purchases: Premium, Remove Ads, skins and a lives refill. Purchases are made through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency before you buy.

   Premium is a yearly subscription that renews automatically. While it is active, it removes forced full-screen ads, unlocks every skin, including future ones, and adds 30 hints once per Apple Account, delivered with the first paid period. It may start with a free trial: if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the first year is charged to your Apple Account. After that, the subscription renews every year at the price shown in the App Store unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

   You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account’s subscription settings (iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Tapolo under Shop › Manage subscription . Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. When Premium ends, its benefits end too. Hints you have already received and one-time purchases stay.

   Premium and one-time purchases, such as Remove Ads and skins, can be restored on your devices with the same Apple Account using Restore Purchases in Settings or in the Shop . Items that are used up, such as hints and lives, cannot be restored. Purchased items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred outside the app.

   Payments, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.

5. Ads

   The free version of Tapolo is financed by ads. A full-screen ad may appear now and then after you complete a level, within the limits described in the Privacy Policy. Remove Ads or Premium switches these ads off.

   Rewarded ads are always optional. A reward is given only when the ad network confirms that the ad was watched; if an ad cannot be loaded, no reward is given, and we do not guarantee that an ad will always be available.

6. Acceptable use

   You agree not to:

   • copy, modify, distribute or sell Tapolo or any part of it;
   • reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law allows it;
   • use cheats, bugs or unauthorised tools to gain an advantage or obtain paid content without paying;
   • use Tapolo in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

7. Intellectual property

   Tapolo, including its name, puzzles, artwork, sounds and code, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the licence above, these terms give you no rights to it.

8. Changes and availability

   We may update Tapolo, add or remove features or content, and change or discontinue the app. We aim to keep Tapolo running smoothly but cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

9. Disclaimer

   To the extent permitted by law, Tapolo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

    To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Tapolo. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Ending these terms

    You may stop using Tapolo at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously breach these terms. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimer and limitation of liability continue to apply after the terms end.

12. Governing law

    These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in its courts.

13. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on this page. If you keep using Tapolo after a change, the updated terms apply.
